6. Selection of Entrants to Participate in Hoop Challenge:  Between approximately 12:00pm (noon) and 12:30 p.m. PDT on August 9, 2025 (before game play begins for the day)(the “Selection Time”), the master of ceremonies (MC) for the game event will randomly select two (2) Entrants who are present in the ticketed seating area of the Intuit Dome arena (excluding VIP boxes and similar seating).  Entrants who use the Alternative Mode of Entry will be notified via email no later than 5 p.m. PDT on August 8, 2025 as to how they can be admitted to the Intuit Dome arena for the sole purpose of participating in the Hoop Challenge.  All Entrants must be present in the ticketed seating area of the Intuit Dome arena at the Selection Time on August 9, 2025 in order to have a chance to be randomly selected to participate in the Shooting Period.  Entrants randomly selected by the MC will be required to sign a Participation Acknowledgement, Waiver and Release (the “Acknowledgement”) prior to participating in the Hoop Challenge portion of the Challenge.  This Acknowledgement will require the selected Entrants to verify that they qualify for all criteria to be an Entrant in the Challenge under these Official Rules and to agree to release Sponsor and certain other related parties from liability.  If selected Entrants do not sign the Acknowledgement or are otherwise determined to be ineligible to participate in the Challenge, the MC will select additional Entrants at random until 2 individual Entrants have signed the Acknowledgement and have been deemed qualified Entrants by the Sponsor.  Such finally selected and qualified Entrants will be referred to in these Official Rules as the “Participants”.  Selected Entrants may NOT designate another person to shoot on his/her behalf as the Participant.

7. Rules for Participants in the Hoop Challenge; Prizes.  Once two Participants have been selected in accordance with these Official Rules, such two Participants will have forty-five seconds (00:45) (the “Shooting Period”) to shoot at the same time. Participants must “climb the ladder” of the following shooting accomplishment stages such that last stage completed successfully at the end of the Shooting Period is the prize that is won (prizes are not cumulative). Each Participant will be given one ball, with rebounders getting them a ball back.  The contestant can shoot as many shots as it takes (while time is still available to do it) to complete a stage in the pyramid.  The ladder of stages must be completed in order.  The stages, their order and associated prizes are as follows:

Free throw: $500

Top of the key: $1,000

3pt: $2,500

4pt circle: $10,000

2nd 4pt circle (different from the first): $50,000 prize

Each of the two Participants are eligible to win the entire prize related to the stage(s) they successfully complete during the Shooting Period.  For example, if during the Shooting Period the one Participant makes the Free throw, Top of the key and 3pt shots and the other Participant makes all of the shots, the first Participant will win $2,500 and the second Participant will win $50,000.  All balls will be provided by the Sponsor and will be Big3-regulation basketballs (Fireballs) and Participants will shoot through the Big3-regulation basketball hoop of the target goal.  For each stage, the Participant must attempt the applicable shot from behind the demarcation line for the applicable stage measured from the backboard of the target goal in accordance with Big3 regulations for similar shots in Big3 standard game play. An attempt will be deemed to have occurred when the basketball has been released by the Participant. No part of the Participant’s body or clothing may come in contact with or cross the applicable demarcation line prior to releasing the ball. In order to be counted as a successful shot, the basketball must pass completely through the target hoop on the fly, from the point of release from the Participant’s hand(s), without coming in contact with the ground, or any surface, other than the backboard or hoop, and would otherwise constitute a successful shot under Big3 regulations. The Sponsor will appoint a line judge who must witness each attempt by the Participants live during the Shooting Period. There may be, if deemed necessary by Sponsor, a reasonable investigation into the winning shot(s) following the Shooting Period, which may include, but will not be limited to, obtaining and reviewing video footage of the shots.  Sponsor may overrule any decisions of the line judge.

The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local income and withholding taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local income and withholding taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use Winner's name, likeness, Entry and audio or video of Winner participating in the Challenge for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

8. Winner selection and notification: Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, there may be up to two (2) Prize winners (the “Winner(s)”) of the Challenge if the Participant(s) successfully make at least the first stage shot.  The Winner(s), if any, will be paid via check or wire transfer as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.  Payment(s) shall be made to the winner approximately forty-five (45) days after the end of the Challenge Period in accordance with payment information provided by the Participant in the Acknowledgement signed during the Challenge.  If the Winner: (a) is unreachable within a reasonable amount of time (not to exceed 60 days following the end of the Challenge Period) for payment using the contact information provided in the Acknowledgement or (b) fails to accept the Prize, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify such Winner and not award the prize to anyone. Sponsor shall not be responsible for failed attempts to notify the Winner and no responsibility is assumed by Sponsor for any correspondence returned as undeliverable or any other problems associated with attempt(s) to notify the Winner. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible Entries received and the skill of the Participant in shooting if randomly selected to do so.

The receipt by any Winner of the prize offered in this Challenge is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. Potential Winner is subject to verification of eligibility by Sponsor and compliance with these Official Rules. A potential Winner may be required to sign and return, in the form provided by Sponsor, additional certifications, releases, affidavits or other documentation as requested by Sponsor within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of any request therefore. Any Entrant who fails or refuses to sign and return the required documentation within the time period as specified by Sponsor may be disqualified. Once each potential Winner's eligibility is verified, he/she will be confirmed as a Winner.

Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local income and withholding taxes shall be the sole responsibility of each Winner. Winners of a prize valued at $600 or more will receive a Federal Tax Form 1099. Winners may be required to provide their Social Security number or tax ID for tax reporting purposes if Sponsor is required to file an IRS Form 1099 with the Internal Revenue Service for the fair market value of a prize awarded and accepted.

ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR'S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE CHALLENGE AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
